Kohler Waters Spa Launches Detoxifying Seasonal Services
Two new services, available Jan. 15 in both Kohler, Wis., and Burr Ridge, Ill., offer immunity building and hydrating benefits
KOHLER, Wis. – January 8, 2014 – Kohler Waters Spa at The American Club resort in Kohler, Wis. and Kohler Waters Spa in Burr Ridge, Ill., proudly launch their seasonal services Jan. 15, offering new detoxifying, immunity building and hydrating experiences. The flagship location renowned for its five-star service and experiential treatments debuts the Detox De’lite and S’more Please Pedicure. Both services have been meticulously crafted by the staff, adjusted and personalized to provide the guest with a feeling of renewal and revitalization.
The impressive Detox De’lite is an 80-minute service aimed to help the guest build immunity and metabolism. It employs specific massage movements to help the guest fully immerse themselves in the detox process and relax. Some of the most notable and unique aspects of the Detox De’lite include dry brushing, body massage, application of hot and cold stones and pressure point therapy.
Dry brushing is a technique where a soft bristle brush is swept across each limb of the body, encouraging better circulation and the movement of lymph fluid, improving immunity. The body massage includes use of hot and cool stones to assist in a full body massage, helping reduce inflammation and boosting metabolism, while the massage of specific pressure points on the face and body are expertly executed to help provide the deepest level of relaxation for a guest. Throughout this experience, the soft aromas of peppermint and cinnamon oil help further detox muscles to encourage relaxation.
“The Detox De’lite experience is one of the most calming and unique services on our menu,” explained Jean Kolb, director of wellness for Kohler Co. “We asked our staff to create an experience that can help not only detox but also assist in building immunity as we start anew in the New Year. The use of the dry brush is something we are especially excited to incorporate. Paired with the full massage experience, we believe guests will really enjoy it.”
Most people have the desire to indulge in chocolate. At Kohler Waters Spa, there’s a more delicious way to indulge while still being healthy. The S’more Please Pedicure is a 50-minute service featuring a sweet cream scrub for exfoliation, chocolate softening serum and a chocolate body butter foot and leg massage.
A notable part of the experience finds the feet enveloped in chocolate softening serum while wrapped up in heated slippers. This practice helps hydrate and renew the skin.
These seasonal services are available starting Jan. 15 in Kohler, Wis. and Burr Ridge, Ill. Detox De’lite is an 80-minute service starting at $156. S’more Please Pedicure is a 50-minute service starting at $85. For reservations, please call 800-344-2838 or visit www.KohlerWatersSpa.com for more information.
