Beginner Player Topics

Recommended for beginner golfers and players with handicaps of 25 or above

Week 1 – Blackwolf Run – Overview of the Game, Basic Fundamentals, Pre-Shot Routine and Connected 7-Irons
We will discuss the Kohler Golf Academy Learning System. In addition, may drills will be given during this session to educate the student about the correct body movements and swing plane.

Week 2 – Blackwolf Run – Pitching & Full Swings
This session explains the Kohler Golf Academy Three Position System for help with distance control from 100 yards and in.

Week 3 – Whistling Straits – Chipping & Putting
Explore the proper chipping techniques of the three club chipping system. In addition, learn several new putting drills to help improve your short game.

Week 4 – Whistling Straits – Driver, Fairway Metals & Sand Play Learn about the latest technology in drivers and fairway metals while exploring the proper techniques when driving the golf ball.  In addition, we will discuss set-up, ball position and follow-through in green side and fairway bunkers.

Week 5 – Blackwolf Run – On-Course Instruction
Focus will be on course management skills, rules and etiquette.


Intermediate/Advanced Player Topics

Recommended for players with handicaps of 24 or below and/or have participated in Get Golf Ready in the past.

Week 1 – Blackwolf Run – Swing Plane & Full Swing
We will discuss swing plane and the 8 positions in the golf swing.

Week 2 – Blackwolf Run – Pitching & Corrective Swings
This session explains the Kohler Golf Academy Three Position System for help with distance control from 100 yards and in.
