Signature Experiences Set for Upcoming Year at Destination Kohler, Save the Dates for themed events celebrating Chocolate, Comedians, Food, Beer, and Wine

In Celebration of Chocolate launches the first of several annual culinary weekends, Tickets & Hotel Packages Now on Sale

KOHLER, Wis. – January 11, 2016 – Destination Kohler is pleased to share its annual lineup of signature events, offering overnight and day guests, as well as the local community, an opportunity to enjoy memorable experiences.

Leading into the season of romance, the 5th annual In Celebration of Chocolate celebrates a communal love of chocolate in the days following Valentine’s Day on February 17-19. Highlighted events include interactive cooking sessions with Executive Pastry Chef Josh Johnson, The Chocolate & Wine Dinner, educational chocolate pairing sessions led by Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates Head Chocolatier Anette Righi DeFendi, the Sugar High evening soiree at Kohler Design Center and a gathering of complimentary samples and tastings throughout the resort.

The entire weekend is a celebration of handmade KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates and the recently released KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates Dark Chocolate Brandy. The Kohler Dark Chocolate Brandy – naturally infused with Kohler’s blend of chocolate – is the company’s first craft spirit. Topping things off is the opportunity for guests to taste signature and new creations from KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates including the Caffé & Cream dual-layered chocolate creation with rich and creamy flavorings of tiramisu.

Later in the winter, the resort hosts a laugh-out-loud Comedy Night on March 4 at 8pm (Tickets $28.75). Comedians include Bengt Washburn, Emily Galati and Orny Adams for an evening emceed by Brian Hicks. These talented comedians converge for an evening show hosted in The Grand Hall of The Great Lakes of The American Club.

On the cusp of spring, the resort hosts the annual Kohler Festival of Beer offering three days of beer-centric happenings with indoor and al fresco brew-themed happenings. Guests can enjoy flavorful food pairings, tastings, educational and interactive seminars, culinary demonstrations, lively music, and a 5K Beer Run/Walk. At the start of fall it is time to celebrate all that grows on a vine at the 17th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience. The esteemed culinary festival – one of the Midwest’s preeminent epicurean events – will host another masterful lineup of celebrity and regional chefs, winemakers and libation specialists. There are more than 100 ticketed events including dynamic culinary seminars, cooking demonstrations, grand wine tastings and stylish signature soirees set at the resort’s captivating venues and at the expansive Main Stage tent.

Chefs of Kohler, from Craverie to Cucina, merge together for a culinary night of meet, greet, eat, and new this year, three live cooking demonstrations. Join us at the Kohler Design Center and make your way through delicious food stations featuring tasty bites from the inspired chefs in your very own backyard. In Celebration of Chocolate

Fall deeper in love with chocolate during the 5th annual In Celebration of Chocolate. A winter getaway has never tasted so good with a weekend full of food pairings, demonstrations, evening dinners and events. Comedy Night

We’re Bringing Back the Laughs! Comedy Night returns to Destination Kohler this spring with a lineup that’s sure to elicit lots of laughs. The show takes place on Saturday, March 4 at 8pm in the Grand Hall of the Great Lakes at The American Club. Special overnight package available include one-night accommodations, one ticket per package adult with early entrance and premiere cocktail seating with tableside service. Taste of Scotland
April 7-8
Tartan Day celebrates Scottish heritage around the world. It is celebrated on April 6, the day of Scottish declaration of independence. Kohler celebrates this heritage as it has strong “links” to the Championship Golf offered at Kohler, the design behind Whistling Straits and the home of our sister property in St. Andrews. Kohler Festival of Beer

The Kohler Festival of Beer continues to celebrate one of Wisconsin’s top industries with the country’s premiere craft brewers and beer fans from around the nation. Mark your calendar for the 17th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience - a four-day extravaganza of food, wine and fun.
