Kohler Golf Season Opens with New Year-Round Swing Studio & Golf Shop

aboutGolf Simulators and state-of-the-art video monitoring equipment make Kohler Swing Studio a destination for indoor game improvement and entertainment

KOHLER, Wis. – April 14, 2016 – The Kohler Swing Studio & Golf Shop opens as a year-round indoor facility for golf improvements and entertainment featuring two aboutGolf Simulators, the official golf simulator provider of the PGA TOUR and Golf Channel. Golfers can play one of more than 60 golf courses for an unparalleled indoor golfing experience at the new location at The Shops at Woodlake Kohler. The Golf Shop features golf equipment and clubs, and logoed apparel and gifts from Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits.

The Kohler Golf Swing Studio features two aboutGolf Simulators – aG Curve and aG Widescreen – with the latest technology available in virtual golf simulation. In the coming months, the aboutGolf designers will be working alongside Kohler Golf professionals to create the course designs for the four world-class golf courses at Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run.

aboutGolf is continually integrating enhancements and creating new offerings including picture-in-picture technology allowing participants to play a round of golf while watching live television in an inset screen. During the 2020 Ryder Cup a studio guest can be playing the Straits course at Whistling Straits along with the pros while streaming live coverage of the tournament.

The Kohler Swing Studio is available for private events, corporate outings and as a venue for celebrations – birthdays, family reunions, wedding events, retirement parties, and more. The simulators feature a variety of virtual games such as skee ball arcade style game and entertainment features including viewing televised sporting events, movies, photo and video collages, and business presentations. The simulators may also be connected to any video game system such as Playstation, Xbox and Wii. League golf will be offered in November 2016.

Open daily, Monday-Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. Starting April 22, the Kohler Swing Studio will extend its hours of operation, Monday-Saturday from 10am to 11pm and Sundays 11am to 9pm. Open golf hourly rates start at $40 per hour for up to 4 players. Packages, memberships and special rates available. A variety of food, drinks and adult beverages will be available for purchase.
