What is Destination Exploration?

Destination Exploration is a weekend program which focused on preparing students for careers in the hospitality industry. From networking and strategic breakout sessions, to guest speakers and tips of the trade, this is a priceless opportunity to translate classroom learning into practical application while gaining behind-the scenes intelligence from the respected professionals of our world-renowned resort.

Network with industry professionals and meet students from other hospitality programs. You will leave Destination Exploration with a better understanding of the hospitality industry and the many career paths hospitality has to offer.

Where is Destination Exploration?

Destination Exploration will take place in Kohler, Wisconsin at Destination Kohler-the only acclaimed Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort in the Midwest. Kohler, Wisconsin is located an hour north of Milwaukee, two hours north of Chicago, and an hour south of Green Bay.

How is the pricing for Destination Exploration structured?

Pricing for the program is based on occupants per room. Pricing for double occupancy, or two attendees, starts at $199 and increases or decreases accordingly. Bring 3 friends for the best deal! Also, any school bringing four or more students from their program is eligible to receive a Destination Kohler Gift Card for each member in attendance. This gift card may be used at any Destination Kohler Outlet or towards remaining balance of the
program cost upon checkout.

What do I do if I am planning to attend with other students from my school?

Come by the car load! If you plan on attending the Destination Exploration Event with other students from your school, be sure to let the reservationist know when you call to register. Also, ensure that those you are planning to share a room with call the reservations team to register for the event as well, again, informing the reservationist of those that will be sharing the room.
***If four or more students from a school attend the event, each student from the respective school will receive a Destination Kohler gift card which can be redeemed at any Destination Kohler Outlets or towards the remaining balance of the program cost at checkout.

What is included in the cost of the program?

Enjoy a two night stay at the Inn on Woodlake, a welcome reception on Friday evening, continental breakfasts at the Inn on Woodlake, lunch at Blackwolf Run on Saturday, a dinner event titled “Taste of The American Club”, and all seminars and tours throughout the weekend.

How do I sign up for Destination Exploration?

It’s quick and easy! Call our Reservations Team at 844-312-8640. Let them know that you are interested in attending the Destination Exploration event and they will gather all information needed to register you for the event. Don’t forget to tell them if you plan on sharing a room with other students from your school. Also, ensure any others sharing a room with you call to make their reservation as well. Don’t Delay!
