April 6, 2013
Tartan Day celebrates Scottish heritage around the world. It is observed on April 6, the day Scotland declared independence in 1320. We pay tribute to this heritage as it has strong “links” to the championship golf offered at Kohler, inspired the design behind Whistling Straits and is the home of our sister property in St Andrews.
As part of our Taste of Scotland event, guests will enjoy a Scotch tasting and seminar at The Winery Bar, followed by a special evening at Whistling Straits. The evening will include a special reception in the Champions Locker Room featuring traditional Scottish entertainment and a delectable custom menu of Scottish fare. Brave souls are encouraged to wear their kilts!
The American Club and Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin welcome Andrew Weir, USA Brand Ambassador for Balvenie Distillery to this event. Andrew will be sharing the Balvenie story of ultimate craftsmanship at both the Scotch Tasting and evening events at Whistling Straits.
Event is available only to overnight guests of The American Club or Inn on Woodlake.
Discounted room rates are available for guests of this event. Rates starting at $199 at The American Club and $119 at Inn on Woodlake.
