Aerial Vinyasa Yoga – Finding Flight - Jessica Warren
Aerial Vinyasa Yoga offers you the best of both worlds! You’ll experience the weightlessness of flight in the aerial silks and also the dynamic flow of vinyasa on your mat. We’ll begin by moving through a dynamic vinyasa flow on our mats and then take that flow into flight! The use of the aerial silks will assist in floating through the transitions in your vinyasa, arm balancing and building strength while maintaining proper alignment and control. Experiencing a flow on your mat and in the silk will allow you to create muscle memory and to apply what you know from your mat into the silk and what you learn in the silk, back onto your mat. This workshop will have a strong focus on floating, inversions and arm balances. Long pant and long sleeves are recommended for this workshop.

This class emphasizes not the shaman's physical tools but focuses on the core essence of what it is to be a shaman. Presented by UW instructor, Reiki Master/Teacher and Shaman John Oestreicher. “Letting Go” Yin Workshop - Chris Johnson
This workshop will focus on “letting go” of tightness in our physical body, and allow us to explore techniques in “letting go” of things that hold us back. The workshop is suitable for all levels of students. We will build warmth in our bodies with a gentle vinyasa flow. From there we will practice yin asanas that focus on the hips, pelvis, and the spine. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues of the body (those tissues that connect muscle to bone). Asanas in yin practice are held for an extended period of time to challenge both the body and the mind to let go. We will end with a guided imagery that will take us to a mental “letting go”. Please join me in allowing your body and mind to let go.
