Sports Core has been in the business of developing junior tennis players in Wisconsin for nearly 30 years. We have a strong commitment to juniors and aim to produce a generation of future high school and college players.

Junior Tennis Programs

Quick Start (Ages 3-8)
Quick Start provides a group setting for beginners to learn eye-racquet coordination, basic motor skills, and the fundamentals of proper stroke technique using 36 ft. courts and red/foam transition tennis balls.

Junior Development Program (Ages 9-16)
Designed to develop proper technical skills in order to become a steady point and match player. Emphasis on proper stroke technique using orange and green transition tennis balls for certain classes.

Tournament Training
Designed for players interested in developing skills essential for competition. Players will learn to execute proper technique in ground strokes, serves, and volleys.

Tennis Advancement Program
Action-oriented drills to improve competitive skills for team and tournament play. Designed to expose players' competitive edge in preparation for high school competition.

High Performance
High-intensity program for varsity high school and USTA tournament players who have competitive rankings. Emphasis is on advanced technical and competitive application.

Additional Junior Programs

Sunday Night Match Play
Tournament Training, TAP, and High Performance group program participation required. Open to competitive juniors who want to prepare for USTA tournament matches.

Grand Prix Tennis
Three hours of match play, prizes, and pizza!

Sports Core Interclub Tennis
Join us as we travel to compete against the top junior programs in our region, including Four Lakes Athletic Club (Elkhorn, WI), College Park Athletic Club (Deerfield, IL), Cherokee Club (Madison, WI) and Elite Clubs (Milwaukee, WI). Matches will include singles and doubles play. Dates will be announced throughout the year.

USTA Tournaments
Sports Core will host several official USTA Tournaments this coming year. Sign up for these events and become eligible for a District, Sectional and even National ranking.
